Aviation Maintenance Technician

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • This position requires an individual who is detail oriented with a strong work ethic. The successful candidates will not only be responsible for testing and packing inflatable units but will also assist in other safety equipment repair shops throughout the facility as needed.
  • Remove, replace and overhaul  aircraft safety parts and components. Perform tests to diagnose problems with aircraft parts and systems and report defects. Perform routine inspections. Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance

  • Performing tests to diagnose problems with aircraft parts and systems and reporting defects.
  • Performing routine inspections.
  • Keeping detailed records of repairs and maintenance.
  • Ensuring compliance with aviation regulations.
  • Understanding technical manuals.
  • Possessing strong problem-solving skills.
  • Math skills must include the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Being detail oriented
  • Must be able to complete various types of maintenance documents such as, Service Difficulty Reports, Test Results, In- Process Inspections and complete FAA form 8130 and EASA Form 1 in accordance with FAA & EASA Regulations and company policies
