JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Senior Manager, HRBP, the HRBP Associate plays a pivotal role in supporting an onsite operations client group at a dynamic winery site, including warehouse, cellar, winemaking, crush seasonal staff, bottling operations, maintenance, and engineering teams. With a workforce of 500+ union and non-union employees, the HRBP Associate will manage employee relations, labor relations, organizational structure, succession planning, coaching, and investigations. Additionally, this role will assist in implementing training programs for the Operations Leadership team, ensuring continuous development and operational excellence.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manage employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions and grievance handling.
- Support labor relations activities, including union interactions, grievance resolution, and negotiations.
- Assist in organizational development initiatives, such as structure and succession planning.
- Provide coaching to supervisors and department managers to enhance team performance.
- Conduct investigations, handling moderately complex issues and escalating when necessary.
- Collaborate with leaders to align HR strategies with business goals.
- Implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Facilitate training and development programs to build leadership capabilities within the client group.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Support change management initiatives to drive organizational effectiveness.
