Job Title : Sales Consultant

Summary

TEAM FORD LINCOLN is seeking dynamic and customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultants to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars, excellent interpersonal skills, and a drive to exceed sales targets. This role involves selling new and pre-owned vehicles, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining long-term relationships with clients! Essential Duties

Sales Performance : Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas by actively selling vehicles to customers.

Customer Interaction : Greet and engage customers in a friendly, professional manner; understand their needs to match them with the appropriate vehicle. Keeps up to date on new products and services within the industry.

Product Knowledge : Maintain thorough knowledge of all vehicle makes, models, features, and benefits, including updates on new inventory and technological advancements.

Test Drives : Conduct vehicle test drives with potential buyers, highlighting key features and benefits.

Negotiation and Closing : Skillfully negotiate sales terms, including price, trade-in values, and financing options, to close sales deals effectively.

Follow-Up : Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business and referrals.

Paperwork and Administration : Handle all sales documentation, insurance paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.

Inventory Management : Assist in managing dealership inventory by providing feedback on vehicle sales trends and customer preferences.

Team Collaboration : Work closely with the finance, service, and parts departments to provide an integrated customer experience.

Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner.

  • Maintains professional appearance.
  • Attends product and sales training courses as requested.
  • Approaches, greets, and offers superior customer service, assistance, or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot.
  • Qualifications : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and / or ability required.

    Education and / or Experience

  • P rior experience or training is preferred but not required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Physical Demands

  • Ability to drive a vehicle
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and move objects
  • Ability to work 40 hours a week
  • Ability to speak clearly and concise
  • Ability to work in environments that do not have heat or air conditioning
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
