Position Summary Information
Summary Perform operational duties related to eCommerce, graphic design, customer service,
merchandise & order management, data entry, and promotional activities. This role will also provide direction to student workers, resolve technical issues, packaging product for shipment, assist in the creation of promotional and print marketing materials by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible to manage online order process from receipt to shipment each day.
- Direct responsibility to manage store website, which includes page design, image management, and product description, to maintain an intuitive checkout process.
- Create item records, purchase orders, and color, logo, size classifications in ARC & InSite software platforms.
- Manage service inquiries, customer feedback, complaints, and resolve technical support concerns.
- Ability to use Excel, HTML, Photoshop, Illustrator, and photo editing tools.
- Utilize SEO practices to improve website, analyze performance data, and submit a quarterly sales report.
- Assist in the development of promotional events and marketing materials.
- Oversight of marketing and promotional media uploaded to store Bright Sign television network.
- Effectively manage multiple projects with a high standard of excellence, conformity to university policies, while maintaining a positive and service-oriented attitude.
- Maintain a working knowledge of inventory procedures and assist with periodic and annual inventory counts.
- Overtime and other duties may be required as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities This position could be responsible for assigning work and / or giving direction to part-time Student Workers, in order to complete work assignments.
