BIG is looking for talented architecture students who are eager to learn and develop their skills as Design Assistants (Interns) in our NYC office for 6 months starting in July of 2024 or later.
This opportunity is intended to give active students exposure to the operations of a professional architecture environment. Candidates with a graduate degree are ineligible; candidates with a B.Arch or will have completed a B.Arch at the time of the internship who are not currently enrolled in a graduate program are also ineligible.
Those that are ineligible will not be considered.
Requirements :
- Must be an architecture student with at least 3 years of school experience
- Skilled in Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite and visualization i.e., Enscape, V-ray, etc.)
- Experience with physical model making
- A flexible attitude towards new ways of working
- Ability to take initiative in response to direction or instructions
- Great interpersonal communication skills
- Available for at least 6 months
Compensation for Design Assistants is $18 per hour, plus overtime.
