Job Duties and Responsibilities :
The Staff Device Hardware Engineer will work closely with internal cross-functional teams and external vendors / suppliers for chipset to evaluate and monitor RF OTA, RF Front End, Power ICs, and Battery. The position requires working with Chipsets / OEMs / 3rd Party Labs to create an overall strategic technical vision and roadmap for DISH Wireless device RF, Front End, and power management features. We are looking for a Sr. Device Hardware Engineer with extensive wireless experience in 4G / 5G and a deep understanding of RF Front end and antenna design for smartphones and other connected devices, wearables, and mobile hotspots.
Key Responsibilities :
In this role, you will :
- Provide technical leadership for RF OTA, Front End, and Power Management within DISH Wireless Device / Network organization.
- Create and manage 5G device requirements, test plans, and features for Antenna and Battery performance.
- Design, test, optimize, and implement compact antenna solutions for 5G Cellular, WLAN, Bluetooth, IEEE 802.15.
- Experience with regulatory processes (FCC, PTCRB, CTIA, GCF) and Device compliance certification for RF OTA (TRP / TIS) and SAR.
- Work closely with third-party testing vendors, OEMs, Network Engineering, and Roaming partners to align device / network performance with DISH Wireless objectives.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, cooperate in teams, and present to executive-level teams as needed.

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
