We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Commercial Escrow Officer to manage commercial real estate transactions from start to finish. This position requires a keen understanding of escrow procedures, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. What you'll be doing…

  • Overseeing the entire escrow process for commercial real estate transactions, ensuring adherence to all regulations and company policies.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and interpreting escrow instructions, agreements, and documents.
  • Coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely closings.
  • Conducting comprehensive title searches and resolving any title issues that arise during the transaction process.
  • Calculating and preparing closing statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
  • Facilitating the disbursement of funds and distribution of documents according to the terms of the escrow agreement.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

The right person has…

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Escrow Officer or in a similar role within the commercial real estate industry.
  • Strong understanding of commercial escrow procedures, title insurance, and real estate transactions.
  • Proficiency in escrow software and other relevant technology.
  • Experience with multi-state commercial transactions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to escrow and title processes.
  • Notary public certification preferred.
