Service Manager - Miami

Job responsibilities :

  • The service manager will operate the service department at maximum production, controlling costs, building a loyal clientele, maintaining good employee relationships, setting and obtaining sales objectives and maintaining service records
  • Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
  • Serve as a liaison between technicians, the parts dept., and customers
  • Distribute work between technicians
  • Prioritize required services
  • Ensure customers have a positive dealership experience
  • Maintain accurate records; execute warranty parts retention, following all OEM requirements
  • Take ownership of customers’ experience
  • Manage and hire technicians and service advisors
  • Lead improvement efforts that support annual goals for service and cost control
  • Assure a clean and safe working environment

Must Have Job Requirements :

  • 3+ years as a Thermo King or Carrier Service Manager
  • Strong diesel repair and reefer background (8+ years)
  • A relentless focus on customer satisfaction and follow-up
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and multi-task effectively
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic
  • Basic computer skills (Karmak experience preferred)
