What you do :

The Analytics Consultant / Senior provides reporting and analytics support for business units and strategic partners throughout Allianz. This includes defining and fulfilling their reporting and analytics needs for business decision making by providing solutions that leverage data exploration, visualization, automation, or statistical models. The role will develop recommendations and data solutions for business and leadership teams with limited oversight and guidance. Individuals in this role are proactive, curious, passionate about data and developing analytics, work with all levels of the organization helping influence strategic program decisions and be experienced in developing stories from data effectively. Accuracy, the ability to multitask, work independently and effectively in a fast-paced hands-on environment, and adjusting priorities in response to business needs is critical. This role may provide training and day-to-day guidance to more junior consultants.

A successful candidate will have background in :

• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver data, analytics and reporting solutions. Maintain and continue to improve data and reporting infrastructure (data quality, data consolidation, report automation). Collaborate and lead the orchestration of data sources, data requirements and implementation timelines.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders on maintaining and enhancing reporting, ad hoc analysis and development of analytics use cases. Produce scheduled metrics and reports utilizing a variety of data sources. Streamline and improve reporting processes and procedures on an ongoing basis to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Responsible for data analysis and telling stories with data as well as identifying trends, anomalies, and root causes. Synthesize data to provide recommendations for future strategy and tactics. Partner closely with business partners acting as a translator of business unit needs and identify key performance indicators.
• Develop and implement strategic solutions including opportunities to use analytics and statistical modeling in support of Allianz goals and business targets. Implement quality assurance processes for all reporting and metrics. Work in partnership with Technology to automate and improve processes that manage data for reporting and analysis.
