Job Description Summary

Loading and unloading heat treat furnace.

Job Description

Is familiar with and follows all work instructions that apply to the job.

Loads and runs machine.

Makes necessary machine adjustments to maintain tolerance or notifies appropriate personnel when adjustments are needed.

Unloads machine and stacks parts according to shop criteria for material handling.

Properly tags product at each stage of process, according to shop criteria.

Record information in computer systems as required.

Performs all inspections as required.

Notifies appropriate personnel when nonconforming parts are found.

Monitors tool condition, changes tools at specified intervals or when wear becomes excessive.

Notifies appropriate personnel about problems with machine occur.

Maintains a safe work area by performing general housekeeping duties in work area.

Recommend solutions to problems through channels.

Other job duties as assigned

Required Skills and Education

• HS Diploma or GED
• Previous furnace experience preferred.
• Previous machine operation experience preferred but not required
