Zeebra Kids is a New York clothing and footwear brand for kids, created with style and comfort in mind. We are known for our elevated and stylish designs carefully thought out to the last detail. Our products are carried by Bloomingdales and several boutiques across the tri-state area.

We are looking for an experienced Independent Sales Representative who is well versed in the childrens apparel industry, passionate about fashion, enjoys working one-on-one with customers and thrives in a sales environment. The sales representative will bring in their experience and connections to increase brand awareness and sales. This role is crucial to the success of the organization and requires great communication and follow-up skills.

What youll do :

  • Prospect new customers by making sales calls and visiting both existing and potential accounts.
  • Grow and maintain excellent working relationships with existing accounts.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve complaints.
  • Understand client and retail environment.
  • Attend shows and showrooms to present lines.
  • Maintain knowledge of customer needs and marketplace trends to provide feedback to the design team.
  • Keep track of accounts weekly customer reviews, inventory, %IMU margins.
  • Lift and carry samples, sample bags, and rolling racks into client meetings and shows.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience with an account base and strong focus on Independent and mid-size better retailers.
  • Proven ability to work independently with a healthy mix of entrepreneurship, process, and sales / people leadership skills / experience.
  • Exceptional relationship management and negotiations skills.
  • High level of customer service standards.
  • Well-developed personal networks and interpersonal skills and high levels of business acumen.
  • Computer savvy with proficiency in MS Office (Google, Word, Excel, and Shopify preferred).
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must have strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Must be detail oriented, a self-starter, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to travel nationally 30-50%.
  • Valid driver license and clear driving record.
  • Must live in the tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT)
  • Compensation will be commission only.
