Job description

Infosys is seeking a Senior SAP WM Consultant

As a Senior Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology
  • Location for this position is Louisville, Kentucky. Talents in that location are preferred but other locations in USMW like Chicago, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Detroit, Cincinnati are ok, if they are willing to travel on bi-weekly basis

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least minimum 4 years of SAP project implementation experience in SAP WM and integration with other process areas
  • Experience in 1-2 multiple, full lifecycle SAP WM project implementations preferably at client location.
  • Domain knowledge of Warehouse operations in general
  • SAP Warehouse Management Experience (Transfer orders, picking lists, packing lists, handling units, replenishment, mapping WH into SAP, STO etc.)
  • Configured master data for Storage Unit management (SUM) and Handling Unit Management (HUM).
  • Experience with MM module
  • Worked on EDI (810 / 830 / 862 / 856 / 850 / 860), IDocs, RFC and BAPI for data transfer between SAP and other systems
  • Understanding of SD (order, delivery, PGI)
  • Integration of WMS with OTC and P2P processes.
  • Able to combine strong functional experience with ABAP / technical skillset to debug and implement solutions to client’s customized SAP solution.
  • Strong Client Facing experience, good communication and presentations skills.
