Great opportunity for a Quality Engineer looking for a growing company with excellent benefits.

1) Collaborate with customer’s quality and engineering personnel to determine critical part features and manufacturability.

2) Working knowledge of Statistics for process capability.

3) Supervision of Quality Technicians.

4) Interact with customers and suppliers on quality issues.

5) Provide quality support to operations ensuring application of quality techniques :

A) Resolving quality issues of capability, tolerance, and material issues.

B) Identify problems, determine solutions, and implement action plans.

C) Communicate and reinforce quality improvement ideas.

6) Develop and submit ppap documents for new product launches.

7) Determine when capability studies should be performed on processes, review results and determine course of action to improve process.

8) Participate in the green sheet process to determine appropriate measurement techniques and manufacturability of new products.

9) Manage teams in problem solving and corrective action.

10) Develop APQP documentation for new product launch.

11) Maintain PFMEA and Control Plan documents.

12) Participate in the corrective and preventive action process.

13) Participate in the internal audit process.

14) Ensure that procedures and work instructions are adequate and are being followed.

15) All other duties as needed by the Quality management system.

Qualifications :

1) A background in manufacturing.

2) Supervision experience over Quality Technicians preferred.

3) A knowledge of ISO 9001 systems

4) Associate degree in engineering or at least 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment as a Quality Engineer.

5) Faro Arm programming capability or programming experience with measurement equipment.

6) Microsoft Office capable

7) GD&T knowledge
