Job Description :
We are seeking a talented Insurance Defense / Civil Litigation Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join our Miami office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance defense, including experience in general liability, personal injury, property damage, and other civil litigation matters. The attorney will be responsible for managing a caseload from inception through resolution, conducting discovery, drafting pleadings and motions, attending court appearances, and negotiating settlements.
Responsibilities :
- Manage a diverse caseload of insurance defense and civil litigation matters, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, and general liability cases.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
- Negotiate settlements and explore alternative dispute resolution methods where appropriate.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and advising on legal strategies.
- Work collaboratively with a team of attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
