Responsibilities and Duties :
- Month-End Closing and Billing : Perform month-end closing and billing to customers efficiently and accurately.
- Financial Statements Consolidation : Utilize our advanced Accounting System to close months and consolidate financial statements.
- Variance Evaluation : Evaluate and investigate variances in financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Sales and Use Tax Reporting : Assist with the self-reporting of Sales and Use Tax liability and monthly return submission.
- Budget Reconciliation : Reconcile budgets and prepare detailed financial reports at defined intervals for management review.
- Budgeting and Forecasting : Collaborate with department heads in the budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure financial goals are met.
- Compliance : Ensure all accounting practices comply with legal guidelines and established accounting principles.
- Year-End Audit : Aid the year-end audit process, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Journal Entries : Record monthly journal entries to assist in the month-end close process.
- Fixed Assets Management : Maintain and reconcile the Fixed Assets register.
- Account Reconciliations : Prepare and analyze monthly account reconciliations for various balance sheets and profit & loss expense accounts.
- Additional Duties : Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the accounting team.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting with CPA or Master’s degree in AccountingMinimum of 4 years of accounting, preference for experience in the AEC industry.Experience performing year-end audits is required.3+ busy seasons in public accounting and auditing commercial clientsExpert knowledge of accounting and financial principles, regulations, and best practicesHighly organized with keen attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficient with data analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solvingAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot tables, V-look ups, Macros, etc.)Proficient with accounting softwareExperience in public accounting or the technology industry is preferredAble to handle confidential informationCompensation : $80,000 – $120,000, commensurate with experience.
