Senior Business Analyst

Location : Ann Arbor, MI

Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their team in Ann Arbor, MI. This is a dynamic role where you'll help design next-generation solutions that transform the supply chain and logistics industry. You'll play a key part in bridging business and technology, driving digital transformation, and delivering value to enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a customer-facing business process expert for the supply chain platform.
  • Design and develop technology enhancements to address complex business challenges.
  • Perform data mapping between various data formats, including EDI, JSON, and others.
  • Utilize technical skills in data mining and data engineering to extract, manipulate, and analyze data for actionable insights.
  • Collaborate on API integrations, testing, and troubleshooting using tools like Postman.
  • Participate in testing features and functions to ensure production readiness.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to define product vision, roadmaps, and business requirements.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in supply chain solutions, offering guidance to the development team.
  • Develop and document workflows, system specifications, and actionable insights.
  • Identify and recommend system enhancements and improved procedures to optimize performance.
  • Build solution prototypes and communicate product value to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive ongoing customer success by ensuring the achievement of post-launch metrics and KPIs.

    • Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing technical consulting, preferably with enterprise clients (automotive industry experience is a plus).
  • Proven expertise in data mapping between different formats such as EDI and JSON.
  • Strong skills in data engineering , data mining , and proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience with databases such as MS SQL or Oracle .
  • Demonstrated ability with technical projects, system implementations, and IoT-related solutions.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman is a plus.
  • Experience designing, describing, and managing solutions that bridge business needs with technology.
  • Demonstrated success in startup or high-growth environments preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
