Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Paving Estimator with at least 3 years of experience in asphalt paving, rehabilitation, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of milling, pulverizing, grading, drainage correction, compaction, and new pavement installation for parking lots and roads. Preventative maintenance with crack sealing, sealcoating, and striping is also essential.

Responsibilities :

  • Analyze project requirements and prepare accurate cost estimates for asphalt paving and maintenance work.
  • Assess existing pavement conditions and determine appropriate rehabilitation methods.
  • Utilize computer software to generate estimates, proposals, and bid documents.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to present proposals and discuss project details.
  • Collaborate with project managers, field crews, and suppliers to ensure accurate cost analysis.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of material costs, labor rates, and industry trends.

Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of experience in paving estimation, asphalt rehabilitation, and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of grading, drainage correction, and compaction techniques.
  • Proficiency in preparing estimates, proposals, and bid packages on a computer.
  • Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
