As a Medical Operations Program Director at Horizon, you will…

  • Provide direct counseling services as needed.
  • Ensure that program services are provided consistent with agency standards, regulations, and best practice.
  • Work closely with the medical leadership team to ensure compliance with billing and regulatory standards.
  • Provide assistance as needed with accessing training and other resources.
  • Perform day to day management of the Medical Operations team including management of staff, schedules and access within the provider group.
  • Ensure compliance with Horizon’s policies and procedures, the regulations of certifying agencies, and the requirements of funding sources.
  • Manage patient issues related to provider appointments, and assist in case review between treatment team members including clinical counselors and medical providers
  • Manage and create systems around the Medication only program.
  • Support in hiring and onboarding of new providers.

    • What makes you a great candidate?

    We can’t wait to learn more about you! Here are a few specifics of what you’ll need for the job :

  • Master’s degree in health and human services field required.
  • Education / Licensure / Certificates : LMSW, LMHC, LCSW, or CASAC required.
  • Minimum 5 years of counseling experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role required.
  • Proficiency in computer navigation, Microsoft office products, Electronic medical record software.

    This position is located at our 3020, Buffalo NY clinic!

    Hours

    This position has a Monday - Friday schedule!

    Compensation :

    Horizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. The range of pay for this position is $68,580 - $75,438. Starting pay may be impacted based on experience and education. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.

    Physical demands associated with this position include :

  • Sitting for extended periods, alternating between standing and sitting
  • Mobility required with repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements
  • Handling light duties, occasionally lifting objects up to 20 pounds
