A company is looking for a Material Damage Specialist responsible for reviewing and preparing repair estimates and negotiating costs with repair facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesReview claim estimates and photographs for accuracy using CCC estimate review toolsNegotiate with repair shops to agree on repair pricesPrepare estimates using CCC estimating software and assist in ongoing material damage projectsRequired QualificationsMinimum 5 years of claim experience or comparable shop work experience with classic, modern luxury, or exotic / hyper vehiclesHigh level of automotive technical proficiency with a willingness to continue trainingEfficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly ExcelAbility to establish rapport with various levels of collector car enthusiastsStrong negotiation skills and ability to maintain confidential information
