We are seeking a BI Data Analyst Intern to join our family office and private equity group. This role combines technical expertise with data analysis, offering hands-on experience in data management, some financial modeling, and investment analysis. You'll work closely with our team to drive data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with decision-makers, gaining hands-on experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and family office operations.

What You'll Do :

Data Analysis & Visualization :

  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from internal and external sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, or Power BI) to support investment and operational decisions.

Business Intelligence Development :

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and create performance dashboards.
  • Support the design and implementation of data models for tracking portfolio company performance.
  • Data Management :

  • Maintain and optimize data pipelines and ensure data integrity across various systems.
  • Support database management tasks, including querying and updating datasets.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects :

  • Participate in special projects, such as automating reporting processes or implementing new analytics tools.
  • What We're Looking For :

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in data science, computer science, finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming languages, with experience in financial modeling or analytics.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, or Power BI) and financial analysis software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Interest in private equity, investment analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
