Our client, a leading litigation litigation law firm specializing in Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, & Professional Responsibility, is seeking a Paralegal to join their team!

Role : Paralegal

Hybrid : 3 days in office, 2 days remote

Office location : Downtown Manhattan / Wall Street area

Compensation : $75-85k base salary DOE + strong benefits

Job Description :

We are a highly regarded boutique style Law Firm with 8 attorneys specializing in Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice & Professional Responsibility, located in downtown Manhattan / Wall Street area.

We are looking for a Paralegal with at least 5 years of experience with Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation. Medical Malpractice experience would also be extremely helpful. This role will be assisting Partners, Managing Attorney and Associate Attorneys in litigation process from inception to completion of trial and / or settlement. Candidates should ideally be familiar with both New York State and Federal Court procedures.

Duties include :

• Set up & organize files
• Draft & prepare of Summons & Complaints
• Draft & prepare Bills of Particulars
• Draft & prepare all Discovery Demands & Responses
• Request & follow through obtaining all Hospital & Doctors records
• Draft & prepare Motions
• Interact with clients
• Work closely & assist attorneys on day-to-day case management of files
• Stenography A+ or fast long hand dictation
• Familiar with Motion Practice & Calendar Practice
• Correspondence

We are seeking experienced candidates capable of independently working on PI / MM cases to assist with furthering our cases to completion.

Hours : 9 : 30 am to 5 : 30 pm or 10 : 00 am to 6 : 00 pm
