Acting as the first lines of triage for patient care, this state-of-the-art emergency department sees a high volume of patients each day. Serving as a transfer hub for patients coming out of the Sierra Nevada Range and patients who live around the community, there’s never a dull moment. The Registered Nurse Emergency Department’s skills, passion, and experience will be put to great use as you help patients find the appropriate level of care quickly and efficiently.
The Emergency Department is a 24-hour unit, and tends to be quite steady around the clock without feeling overwhelming. This is due in part to the really wonderful team of tenured Emergency Room RNs, experienced ED Charge Nurses, and dedicated physicians / providers. Reporting to the Emergency Department Nurse Manager, and under the guidance of those same Charge Nurses, the ED Registered Nurse will have an active hand in implementing and optimizing the fast-tack emergency room model that makes immediate bedding and turnaround reduction possible.
