Note : The hourly rate for this position is $50 - $50 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities :

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems associated with commercial solar energy systems, including wiring, inverters, and electrical panels.
  • Perform inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers and solar installers to ensure timely project completion.
  • Work at heights on commercial flat roofs, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
  • Provide technical support to other team members and clients, if necessary. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of experience working with commercial solar energy systems, electrical installations, or related fields.
  • Proficient in reading electrical blueprints and schematics.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
  • Ability to work on commercial flat roofs and at heights, with proper safety equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Experience with solar panel installation and battery storage systems.
  • Knowledge of DC electrical systems and PV design.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred. Prior experience in the renewable energy industry.
