We are immediately of hiring an HR Generalist for a great family owned company in South Arlington, TX. This role entails a variety of tasks including human resources administration, payroll processing, safety and DOT administration, along with general administrative duties. Responsibilities :
- Administering bi-weekly payroll to ensure timely and accurate payments
- Serving as the key Human Resources contact on-site, addressing all HR-related queries and issues
- Overseeing benefits administration including health, dental, vision, STD / LTD, 401(k), among others
- Maintaining up-to-date and accurate personnel files
- Managing hiring and onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration of new employees
- Acting as the DOT administrator, ensuring compliance with all regulations
- Coordinating safety measures and OSHA reporting to maintain a safe and secure work environment
- Handling Sales & Use Tax reporting as per the company's policies
- Carrying out other general administrative responsibilities as required
- Utilizing skills such as Benefits Functions, Compliance, Employee Relations, FMLA, Payroll, Onboarding, and Human Resources (HR) Administration.
- Ability to manage Payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payment for all employees.
- Proficiency in Benefit Functions, able to manage and optimize employee benefits packages.
- Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with different levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with Compliance regulations and standards within the HR field.
- Experience in Employee Relations, capable of resolving conflicts and creating a positive work environment.
- Knowledge of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and its application in the workplace.
- Skilled in Onboarding new hires, creating a seamless transition into the company.
- Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration, managing and overseeing all HR processes.
- Proficient in Benefits Administration, able to manage and optimize employee benefits packages.
- Familiarity with Sage 50 software, able to efficiently use this tool for HR tasks.
