    How you make a difference

    The Vice President of Procurement is responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement strategy, operations, and policies for the organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that the company maintains a reliable supply chain, secures high-quality products and services, and achieves cost efficiencies while adhering to regulatory and ethical standards. This position will lead a team of procurement professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Clinical Operations, to support the company's mission.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a procurement strategy aligned with company goals, focusing on cost reduction, supply chain optimization, and quality improvement.
  • Lead supplier relationship management, including contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and risk mitigation to ensure reliable supply and service levels.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, and contract renegotiation while collaborating with Finance on budget management.
  • Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contracts, service level agreements, and healthcare industry regulations.
  • Leverage technology and data analytics to enhance procurement processes, improve decision-making, and implement risk management practices.

    • Qualifications & Requirements

    Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

    • Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, strategies, and best practices.
  • Proven track record of leading successful procurement initiatives, achieving cost savings, and improving operational efficiency.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
