Senior Embedded Linux Engineer

Anduril’s Vehicle Autonomy team is seeking a Embedded Linux Software Engineer to join our team. The Vehicle Autonomy team at Anduril develops aerial and ground-based robotic systems. The team is responsible for taking products like Ghost, Anvil, and our Sentry Tower from paper sketches to operational systems. We work in close coordination with specialist teams like Perception, Controls, Firmware, Hardware and Manufacturing to solve some of the hardest problems facing our customers.

Our DeviceOS team develops the operating system that powers Anduril’s robots. As a member of the DeviceOS team you will build Anduril’s platform for running software on Anduril’s robotics systems. Your software will be deployed on robots operating on land, sea, and air. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of software development projects including design, implementation, automated testing, field testing, and deployment support.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Board bring-up on embedded ARM boards (device trees, bootloaders, kernel drivers, etc)
• Customize vendor BSPs for use with NixOS systems
• Help secure our embedded Linux systems
• Develop and maintain automated hardware-in-the-loop tests to ensure proper functionality of Linux systems

US Salary Range$210,000—$240,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
