NET-A-PORTER are now seeking a talented Personal Shopper to join the team in New York. NET-A-PORTER Personal Shopper’s are the primary liaisons to our best customers. They provide our EIPs with personalized access to the latest trends, newest and most exclusive products, and bespoke invite-only-events. Personal Shoppers anticipate customer wants and needs – and ensure exceptional shopping experiences are delivered to them globally!

Profile customers individually based on their shopping patternUsing these profiles, provide personal recommendations demonstrating detailed product knowledge and an understanding of each client’s style and requirementsRepresent brand and embody values of NET-A-PORTEREnsure prompt follow up with customers acquired through events and partnershipsAchieve yearly targets and KPIsLead team by example through hitting and exceeding sales targetsBe the sales expert within the teamDelivers sales target consistently but also delivers other activities around events, 1-2-1 appointments and other client focused areasOffer styling and advice on itemsEnsure that sales leads are identified and prioritized by analyzing your customer listIncrease spend of individuals and develop customer loyalty through by understanding their needsDrive Personal Appointments where possible with clients to develop relationshipsHave a cultural awareness for clients based across different regionsPossess a self-driven awareness of fashion industry and brands / productFeedback any buying patterns to ManagersParticipate in Client Relations, marketing / partnership events as requiredWork alongside the wider business to understand key business trends and increase business acumenThe type of person we are looking for :
3 – 5 years of work experience in a similar position, preferably in luxury fashionEngaged and active client book driving between £1.8m-£2.5mProactive sales approach, with a track record of achieving personal sales goalsCustomer centric. Willing to go above and beyond to deliver outstanding service and build / maintain strong relationshipsLeadership and mentoring skillsetWorks very closely with stakeholders outside the department to drive own businessFluent in spoken and written English. Fluency in a second language is highly desirableTechnology literate, with experience in Excel and OutlookConfident, with excellent communication skillsOrganized with an eye for detail
