Remote Senior Developer needs 2 years of professional development experience including agile engineering practices like sprint planning, retrospectives and demos.

Remote Senior Developer requires :

  • A Bachelors degree in a Technology-related field such as Computer Science, MIS, Software Development, or similar.
  • Remote but local to Baltimore, MD
  • Minimum 2 years of professional development experience including agile engineering practices like sprint planning, retrospectives and demos.
  • Core programming knowledge (JavaScript, Python etc.) to implement integration logic and a strong fundamental understanding of data structures.
  • Passion for producing clean, error-free code and proactively identifying potential issues.
  • Prior experience with developing in an automated decision engine such as Blaze, PowerCurve, Zoot, or Provenir is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with Swagger-OAS and / or RAML for API specification is a plus.
  • Good communication skills with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Passion for continuous learning and continuous improvement is a must.

Remote Senior Developer duties :

  • Meet with credit analysts and data scientists to understand desired business intent and translate functional intent into user stories and testable component designs.
  • Implement credit strategies and rules into an automated decision engine
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that credit strategy implementations align with business needs and target state architecture.
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs and functional tests using various frameworks.
  • Provide research and problem resolution in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Assist in writing technical documentation for our decision engine implementation.
  • Work in agile, rapid development and prototyping environment.
