Job Description

Gpac is currently with a small, family-owned food company outside of Cleveland, OH who is currently seeking an experienced Plant Manager.

The company has been in business for almost 20 years and has seen tremendous growth the last year. As they continue to grow, they are looking for a hands-on Plant Manager who can oversee and manage their plant processes, ensuring safety, production operations, inventory management, and timely distribution.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage and coordinate plant operations including production operations, safety, quality, maintenance, inventory, and distribution
  • Implement Strategic Operating Plan and Good Manufacturing Practices, including Key Performance Metrics such as attainment, delivery, and efficiency
  • Develop and communicate plant goals and performance metrics, with weekly and monthly performance reports
  • Evaluate equipment processes and procedures to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Lead the development and implementation of continuous improvement strategies to maximize operational effectiveness including assisting with future certification processes and expansion projects
  • Maintain close working relationships with customers, as appropriate, in the areas of customer service including complaints, new orders, order changes, product specifications, inventory, order fulfillment, and delivery

Qualifications :

  • 10+ years experience in food / beverage manufacturing
  • Previous experience managing production and warehouse operations
  • Proven leadership experience and history as a change agent utilizing solid project and program management skills, Continuous Improvement, and a hands-on approach
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across multiple teams and functions, including all levels of the organization
  • Possess a self-motivated and proactive attitude, adjust quickly to change, and be equally competent working independently and being part of a multi-faceted team
  • Strong understanding of food safety and quality standards

    Targeting around 85k base salary
