Job description

Our client is seeking a contract Financial Systems Solutions Manager to join their team for a 7 month contract. This role will require extensive knowledge in Workday Financials systems, focusing on high volume ticketing systems.

Responsibilities :

  • Managing Zendesk requests and completing changes in existing system configurations, while also adhering to change management requirements for SOX
  • Troubleshooting user issues and providing resolution
  • Completing user security administration in our financial systems, including the configuration and assignment of security following control requirements
  • Creating succinct user documentation and job aids that can be easily updated as changes occur to either systems or processes. Train system champions across the finance organization on financial system functionality
  • Collaborate with other components of the Finance Transformation team to implement of new system functionality and take responsibility over the on-going administration and maintenance of new system functionality

Support the use of Workday Financials with the following activities :

  • Assist as needed in support of auxiliary system Blackline (Account Reconciliation and Task Management) by configuring security, managing user access, and ad hoc requests from the business users, as well as managing integrations
  • Support auxiliary EPM system, Planful, Coupa including related integrations
  • Complete SOX tasks, such as monitoring change management processes and user access recertifications and related control requirements, collaborating with Internal Audit and Controls teams
  • Partner with HR, Treasury, FP&A, Legal and Tax teams to ensure unification of systems
  • Requirements

  • 2-6 years of in depth experience with Workday Financials system administration and functionality
  • Working knowledge of financial processes (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Revenue Recognition, Period End Closing, Banking and Settlement, etc).
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills to find proactive solutions to any issues that arise.
  • Ability to be flexible, collaborate, multi-task and handle multiple and changing deadlines and priorities.
