Job Description
The Change Enablement Senior Manager is responsible for driving faster adoption, higher utilization, and proficiency with changes impacting employees’ daily work, aiming to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI, and achieve desired outcomes. Our IBT Change Organization is seeking a candidate to provide consultation, advice, and active support for the technology solution that we deliver and for internal employee engagement initiatives. Key Responsibilities :
Change Management Leadership : Apply structured methodologies and lead change management activities to support project or initiative adoption.
Consultative Approach : Emphasize the importance of being consultative, working collaboratively with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Communication Support : Design, develop, deliver, and manage key communications.
Change Coach : Acting as a coach for senior leaders and executives, the change manager helps them fulfill the critical role of change management sponsor
Impact Assessment : Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.
Training Support : Provide input, document requirements, and support training program design and delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement : Work closely with leadership, corporate and public affairs, and cross-divisional representatives to capture the ‘voice of the employee’ and address potential resistance.
Project Management Partnership : Define success outcomes, key performance indicators, and ensure project plans include appropriate change enablement strategies.
Change Implementation : Develop communication materials, conduct end-user training, and measure adoption and compliance.
Business Integration : Establish business integration approaches across initiatives, recommending improvements for consistency and effectiveness.
Essential Duties :
Develop adaptable methodologies to assess change impact and readiness.
Drive change management tasks, ensuring quality, consistency, and balanced workloads.
Align and adhere to key milestones and timelines, partnering with project managers and product owners.
Develop and execute communication plans for corporate-wide and department-specific IT initiatives.
Address resistance by planning and collaborating with change roles and other key stakeholders in implementing appropriate strategies and tactics.
Consult and coach project teams, creating actionable deliverables for core change management plans.
Support and engage senior leaders, coaching people managers and supervisors.
Integrate change management activities into project plans and evaluate user readiness.
Track and report issues, define and measure success metrics, and monitor change progress.
Manage the change portfolio at the organizational level.
Skills & Competencies :
Demonstrated understanding and progression within the change management function.
Ability to work effectively at all organizational levels.
Proven ability to produce high-quality deliverables and manage change management outcomes for small to mid-size projects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lead multiple change management workstreams and be accountable for performance and results.
Familiarity with project management approaches and integrating change management milestones into project plans.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
Excellent active listening skills and ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
Flexibility, adaptability, resilience, and tenacity.
Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 8 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 6years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years’ experience in a related field; or 12 years’ experience in a related field
Experience creating and executing enterprise-wide change management strategies and plans or people-related initiatives.
Requires strong knowledge of Change Management methodology, such as Prosci ADKAR, Kotter, McKinsey.
Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft application suite, including Word and PowerPoint.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
Preferred Requirements :
Experience in technology industry desired with working knowledge of the software development lifecycle
Certification in Prosci ADKAR
Experience building SharePoint sites
