HeplerBroom LLC is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our St. Louis, MO office. In this role, you will support our skilled team of attorneys as they work on complex defense litigation cases. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with the ability to multitask and contribute to the success of high-stakes legal matters.

- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- A desire to learn and grow professionally from experienced attorneys
- Previous trial support experience
Primary Responsibilities :
Review, analyze, and summarize case records, including medical recordsComplete medical billing summariesDrafting form pleadingsComplete deposition summaries and indexesConduct legal and factual research, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-dateUtilize legal research tools (LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other online resources) to gather pertinent case informationReview, index, and summarize documents such as depositions, medical records, and discovery materialsDraft, edit, and format legal documents as requiredE-file and track court documents in Illinois, Missouri, and Federal CourtsAssist attorneys with expert witness identification, preparation, and trial supportQualifications :
A minimum of 3 years of defense litigation experienceA Bachelor’s degree in any field, or an Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies, is requiredWhy Choose HeplerBroom?
