Job descriptionHigh School graduate or equivalent. Previous experience in patient / resident care in a nursing center, hospital, or rehabilitation center preferred. Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) preferred Therapy students will be considered. Responsibilities include but not limited to :
- Help the rehab staff with patient interaction and coordinate treatment plans
- Complete clerical work as directed for residents and team members
- Participate in department meetings and in facility meetings as assigned
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Maintain compliance and regulatory driven duties such as obtaining physician signatures, maintain quarterly screen compliance and any other State or CMS regulations
- Coordinate work activities with members of other departments and other staff within the rehabilitation department
- Coordinate therapy schedule with nursing if needed
- Assist patients, clients, team members with issues or needs
- Participate in facility performance improvement programs
- Report any unusual incidents to Administrator
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the treatment areas and department
- Assist with maintaining an adequate stock of supplies and equipment including pool check / maintenance
- Perform other duties as requested
