Job description

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanic and / or Electrical Technician to join our team. As a Mechanic or Electrical Tech, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of electrical systems and equipment. You will work closely with other team members to diagnose and repair electrical issues, as well as perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Your work will directly impact the safety and efficiency of our operations.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of or currently in attendance of an accredited electrical training program
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical and / or electrical maintenance and repair
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems and equipment. Electrical experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; preferred.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting
  • Experience with robotics and automation systems
  • Responsibilities :

  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and production equipment
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure optimal performance of all systems
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
  • Skills :

    As a Maintenance Mechanic or an Electrical Technician, you will utilize your strong knowledge of production (electrical) systems and equipment to diagnose and repair issues, as well as perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance. You will also use your ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints to effectively troubleshoot and repair production and / or electrical systems. Additionally, your experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting, as well as any experience with robotics and automation systems, will be beneficial in this role. Your attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols will ensure the safety and efficiency of our operations.
