Job descriptionBachelor’s Degree from an Accredited University : Mechanical Engineering (BSME), Mechanical Engineering Technology (BSET) or equivalent.- 3+ years minimum automotive or commercial truck experience is required.- CAD experience is required (Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, or Catia V5).- Strong understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA).- An understanding of manufacturing process engineering.- An understanding of Controller Area Network (CAN) – SAE J1939 experience a plus
Description :
- Utilize proper engineering fundamentals of design and follow standard engineering procedures- Create new designs that meet customer needs and adhere to relevant governmental codes and regulations.- Evaluate designs and make recommendations, based on appearance, safety, budget, and function.- Provide production support as necessary such as work instructions, light machining, lean process improvement, etc.
