The Senior Sales Strategy Manager position offers a unique opportunity to apply your transformational leadership skills in managing the sales team, all while propelling the company's efforts for sales growth and exploring new business opportunities. As a small yet established AV manufacturer, we're looking for someone with a hands-on mentality who can collaborate closely with senior management to create and execute plans for expanding sales, as well as actively pursuing new leads alongside the sales team. Essential Job Duties
- Leadership : Manage the sales department with established transformational leadership techniques. Strong coaching skills are essential for this position and will involve encouraging teamwork, delivering clear and effective guidance, nurturing innovation, promoting a proactive “hunter” mentality, supporting skill development, and providing continuous support.
- Sales Strategy : Develop and implement a comprehensive sales growth strategy to increase revenue and market share for the company's AV product line. Utilize market insights to develop pricing strategies, sales forecasts, and sales targets aiming to optimize market positioning and achieve revenue goals.
- Opportunities : Seek out new opportunities by cold calling, networking, identifying and pursuing new sales leads. Creative strategies will be crucial in uncovering untapped potential. Leverage exceptional negotiation skills to close deals that benefit both the customer and our company.
- Partnership : Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and strategic partners to enhance business opportunities and sales growth. Whether delivering presentations or demonstrating products online, face-to-face, or at tradeshows, you will showcase your extensive product knowledge while strengthening partnerships.
- Market Research : Conduct extensive market research, analyzing industry trends, customer demands, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and potential areas for growth.
- Marketing Strategy : Collaborate with marketing to develop effective promotional campaigns, marketing materials, and sales tools aligned with the overall sales growth strategy.
- Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, production, and operations, to align strategies and develop compelling sales initiatives. Align with Accounting and Human Resources as necessary to prepare your team for business events / travel and performance reviews.
