Job description

Tekni-Plex is seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift Operator to join our Warehouse and Production Teams in Winston Salem, NC. As a Forklift Operator at Tekni-Plex, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our operations by safely handling materials and ensuring accurate inventory management.

11 : 00 am - 7 : 30 pm

Key Responsibilities :

  • Operate Forklifts Safely : Efficiently move materials and products within the warehouse using various types of forklifts, including counterbalance and reach trucks.
  • Load and Unload Goods : Handle shipments with care, loading and unloading products from trucks and containers.
  • Conduct Inspections : Perform pre-use inspections on forklifts, identifying and addressing any maintenance or safety issues.
  • Maintain Inventory Records : Utilize RF scanners to track and manage inventory, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Adhere to Safety Protocols : Follow all safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Organize Materials : Efficiently store and organize materials to maximize space utilization and streamline operations.

    • Qualifications :

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to various shift schedules.
