Job description

Eleven Recruiting is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to lead organizational analysis efforts, identify current capabilities, propose opportunities for improvement, and drive the measurement, prioritization, and implementation of these opportunities. This role is onsite 5 days a week in Cary, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will work closely with Product Owners to strategize and deliver product roadmaps, offering cutting-edge technology solutions to enhance the mortgage loan process for our customers.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead organizational analysis to identify current capabilities, recommend improvements, and prioritize implementation efforts.
  • Interact and coordinate with system developers and business subject matter experts on application changes, development, and deployment.
  • Gather business requirements impacting technology systems and collaborate with technology partners to develop solutions.
  • Write, communicate, and validate requirements and user stories using tools such as : cases, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, state charts, data dictionaries, and class / entity relationship diagrams.
  • Work within an Agile framework, contributing effectively to Scrum or Kanban teams, and participate in Scrum ceremonies and retrospectives.
  • Identify and manage stakeholders across functional areas to implement projects, understanding their authority and influence on business processes.
  • Document acceptance criteria and maintain system and user documentation.
  • Coordinate and conduct testing, user training, and workflow documentation.
  • Provide regular verbal and written reports to management.
  • Collaborate with Tech Leads and UAT teams to define when user stories are complete.
  • Conduct risk assessments, mitigate risks to projects, and assist with backlog grooming sessions for ongoing roadmap planning.
  • Support Product Owners in strategizing the delivery of product roadmaps.
  • Plan, develop, oversee, execute, and certify changes by creating rigorous test plans and tracking results to ensure alignment with finalized requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in Agile environments.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in G-Suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Data analysis experience, knowledge of BI tools, and proven experience mentoring junior analysts is preferred.
