• Responsibilities
• Maintained a perfect safety record while operating dangerous cutting equipment, sharp knives, and other kitchen tools; trained other store associates on equipment best practices
• Used proper lifting techniques when unloading, transporting, and stocking heavy product containers weighing more than 75 lbs.
• Relied on by supervisor to cover last-minute call outs and work on-call shifts with little to no notice
• Served an increasing number of customers each day by suggesting deli products, receiving order requests, cutting food items, and accurately processing orders in the system
• Worked well with team members and coordinated with other departments to ensure that all production goals were met and customer expectations were achieved
• Recognized by management as a dedicated and reliable individual that is always on-time and never misses a shift; excelled in a fast-paced and challenging environment
