Account Executive Summary
This role will be responsible for new business development and daily customer account management for the asset based brokerage division. High focus to promote the growth and profitability of Palletized Logistics through daily generating new business and growing existing customers by providing strategic solutions. The ideal candidate will execute our sales strategy and will lead daily account management. They are skilled in communication, customer problem solving, and solution focused.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue by onboarding new customers.
- Generate qualified leads based on target markets and verticals.
- Build and execute sales pipeline in CRM.
- Build long-term relationships with prospects and existing customers.
- Strategically seek new solutions with existing customers to grow market share.
- Demonstrate in-depth industry knowledge with the ability to identify, understand, and service the customers’ needs.
- Manage day-to-day communication with owned and assigned customers.
- Analyze and understand market trends to properly provide solutions and pricing.
- Participate and lead all customer quoting (RFQ, RFI, and RFP).
- Create effective proposals and be confident in presenting pricing requests.
- Plan and execute customer business reviews.

2+ years in Logistics / 3PL / Brokerage sales4-year college degree or equivalent experienceDomestic Full Truckload experienceDrayage experience is a plusExperience in full sales cycleTMS knowledge and understandingStrong communications and presentation skillsStrong negotiation skillsAttention to detailSelf-directed with the ability to problem solve with minimal oversightHighly organizedHigh sense of urgencyExperience developing sales strategyCRM experienceProficient in Microsoft Office.Benefits
