Job Title : Sales Engineer – Automation and Controls
Position Overview :
Our client is seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to join their rapidly expanding team in the automation and controls industry. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving new business opportunities and educating customers on the latest industrial control products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in the automation sector.
- Educate and advise customers on cutting-edge industrial control products and solutions.
- Maintain a solid understanding of technologies including PLCs, motion controls, drives, industrial PCs, distributed I / O, HMIs, and Microsoft-based software.
- Plan and execute promotional events, presentations, and technology demonstrations.
- Assist customers with technology selection, usage, maintenance, and training opportunities.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited four-year college or technical school.2–5 years of proven success in selling automation solutions to OEMs and end-users.Strong knowledge of PLCs, motion controls, drives, industrial PCs, and distributed I / O.Highly motivated self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills.Preferred Qualifications :
