Director of Programs
The Director of Programs is directly responsible for administrative, operational, and programmatic support, leadership, and oversight of assigned programs, units, projects, initiatives, budgets and / or divisions based on the mission, vision, values and strategies of the agency. The Director of Programs is responsible for researching, planning, developing and implementing the agency's programs. . In addition the Director of Programs is responsible for the oversight of all program personnel, contract obligations, goals objective and outcomes via direct supervision of the programs Managers, Supervisors, and Coordinators. The Programs Director is responsible for training , coaching and consulting as well as managing the culture of the team.

Key Responsibilities
Manage risks and issues not solvable at the project level and escalated to the program level or identified at the program levelCommunicate with stakeholders on project performance and project issuesCoordinate each project within the program to ensure that objectives are achievedManage project reporting on project accomplishments, deliverables, and milestones against project driversReview project schedules with functional project managers and project coordinators allocated to projectsCoordinate and support program delivery and processesEnsure documentation and archiving of the project activitiesEnsure that all project deliverables and timing are metEstablish effective project or program oversight and other governance bodies, and engage the appropriate stakeholders to support the direction of the project or program and enable a superior customer experienceProvide guidance and mentoring to project team membersQualifications and Experience
Bachelor or Master's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Public Administration, or related fieldMinimum of five (5) years' experience in managing teams of employees in a behavioral health, non-profit, or similar setting in a management level roleEvidence of continuing professional development / experience in field of studyDemonstrate strong Project Management skills managing complex, multifaceted projects resulting in measurable successes and personnel and program growthDemonstrate successes in developing and evaluating program models and selecting and successfully operationalizing innovative programsStrength in hiring, recruiting, managing, developing, Coaching, and retaining individuals and teams, empowering them to elevate their levels of responsibility, span-of-control, and performance; develop and maintain effective communication and appropriate working relationships with staffDeep understanding of employee performance improvement plans and corrective action policiesDemonstrate results in managing through complex systems
