Job description

Job Overview :

An established law firm in Boston is seeking a Corporate Lawyer with 5+ years of experience to join its team. This position will focus on a wide range of corporate and business transactions, including entity formation, corporate governance, contract drafting and negotiations, business sales and acquisitions, bank loans, commercial real estate transactions, and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law and be capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a firm known for its reputation in Massachusetts and New England.

Location : Duties :

  • Assist clients with corporate governance, contract drafting, and business transactions
  • Handle entity formation and advise on business structures
  • Draft and negotiate contracts related to business sales, acquisitions, and loans
  • Represent clients in commercial real estate transactions, including leases
  • Provide general legal counsel for a variety of business needs
  • Manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and external parties

Requirements :

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate law and business transactions
  • Admission to the Massachusetts Bar (Required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Education :

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent from an accredited law school (Required)
  • Doctorate in Law (Required)
  • Certifications :

  • Massachusetts Bar Admission (Required)
  • Skills :

  • Strong corporate law and business transaction experience
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure
