Job Summary
The Sales Assistant plays a vital role in delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, and supporting the overall efficiency of the sales team. You will act as the first point of contact for customers, assisting them in finding products, answering inquiries, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service : Greet customers warmly, identify their needs, and provide product recommendations.
- Sales Support : Assist customers in locating and purchasing desired items while promoting current offers and upselling where appropriate.
- Product Knowledge : Develop an in-depth understanding of the products or services offered, including features, benefits, and pricing.
- Stock Management : Monitor inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure merchandise is presented attractively and organized properly.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with colleagues and the store manager to meet sales targets and maintain a cohesive team environment.
- Problem Resolution : Address customer complaints or concerns, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Sales Reporting : Maintain records of sales transactions and provide feedback on customer trends and popular items.
- Compliance and Safety : Adhere to company policies, including safety and security guidelines, and ensure compliance with legal regulations.
Qualifications and Skills
