customers homes.

This position is for their newest location in Sandy, Utah!

Responsibilities & Duties :

  • The showroom stone consultant is responsible for guiding the customer through the design and creation of their dream project. This is a sales design and consulting position in our showrooms.
  • Meet with customers in our showroom to curate design selections for a variety of projects including but not limited to, tile, quartz, granite, quartzite for countertops, and other stone projects (showers, fireplaces, laundry rooms, bathrooms, kitchens)
  • Have a general understanding of being able to read floor plan layouts.
  • Remain current and knowledgeable about industry trends and company driven training.
  • Travel to customers homes for In-home measuring consultations
  • Attending events, prospecting the territory finding new accounts, & partnerships to grow our business.
  • Expectations of 75% of time in showroom and 25% of the time measuring consultations and growing business.
  • Observant, intuitive, and perceptive while working with others, willing to share ideas and open ways of improving or receiving and providing feedback to teams and departments.
  • Ability to direct design projects according to customer desires and design aesthetics
  • Excel in keeping projects and tasks moving forward with high attention to detail while keeping customers engaged in the process without direct or constant supervision.

Qualifications :

  • Must have qualifications Willingness to learn, highly motivated, outgoing, and customer-focused, excellent communication, ability to create and deliver presentations that tailor to customers needs
  • Previous experience in the countertop industry or sales is a plus
  • Experience in design, specifically related to the home and flooring / tile / countertop / cabinet products is a plus
  • Knowledge of how to complete measurements
  • A general understanding of construction industry
  • Calm under pressure. Reliable, responsible, and dependable
  • Manage time well enough to get tasks done quickly and productively
  • Ability to lift 1-20 pounds, stand or sit for long periods of time, Climbing on a step ladder.
  • Reliable transportation to and from store and customers homes for measurement consultations.
  • Must pass a drug & background check
