About Us : Casa de la Familia is dedicated to providing comprehensive psychological and advocacy services to our community. We are expanding our programs and seeking a dynamic and motivated Program Development Coordinator to join our team.
Job Description : The Program Development Coordinator will play a key role in developing and enhancing all of our programs. This position involves reaching out to local universities, building relationships with academic institutions, community partners, and attracting students and participants to engage in our various programs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and mental health, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Location : Los Angeles (traveling between Orange County and LA County required)
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance all programs at Casa de la Familia.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local universities, academic institutions, and community partners.
- Coordinate with university departments and community organizations to promote our programs and attract participants.
- Organize informational sessions and recruitment events for prospective students and program participants.
- Assist in creating and updating program materials, including brochures and online content.
- Monitor and evaluate the programs' effectiveness, making recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with internal staff to ensure the programs meet educational and professional standards.
- Provide support and guidance to participants throughout their engagement with our programs.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).Experience in program development, recruitment, or academic / community coordination.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with academic institutions and community partners.Excellent organizational and project management skills.Passion for education, mental health, and community services.Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.What We Offer :
