Entry-Level Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Seeking industrial maintenance experience (line maintenance, preventative maintenance, utility technician). Also, would consider skilled automotive mechanics or diesel mechanics with some manufacturing experience.

This role will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical automated system machines. Will work hand in hand with the Electrical Controls Team to troubleshoot, repair and upgrade mechanical and electrical systems. Mechanical Aptitude Required : tools, hydraulics, pneumatics, blueprint reading and mechanical assembly.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems on automated machinery.
  • Work closely with the Electrical Controls Team to address system issues and upgrades.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and system checks.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to assist with repairs and installations.
  • Utilize tools and equipment for mechanical assembly, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in industrial maintenance , line maintenance , preventative maintenance , or as a utility technician .
  • Skilled automotive mechanics or diesel mechanics with manufacturing experience are also considered.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with tools , hydraulics , pneumatics , and blueprint reading .
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing automated systems .
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.

  • Pay range : $24.00 - $30.00 / hr depending on experience.
