Certified Nursing Assistant

Cedar Sinai Park is looking for full-time and part-time Certified Nursing Assistants!

We are looking for both full and part-time CNA's, benefits offered at 30 hours, with flexible shifts and some weekend and holiday availability.

We are located at 6125 SW Boundary St. in the Raleigh Hills area of southwest Portland. Our campus is along bus lines 54 and 56 from Portland to Beaverton.

Summary

Provides direct basic nursing care to residents under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. With the goal of providing care to our residents in an atmosphere of comfort, independence and dignity. The ideal candidate for this position is a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with OSBN or a recent graduate of a CNA program with a date to take the CNA test with a sound background and a commitment to quality elder care.

Essential Functions

Provides resident care as assigned, including but not limited to the following : grooming and cleanliness, exercise, adequate fluid and nutrition intake, monitoring adequate sleep and rest, hygiene and continence, and optimal freedom from pain.

Assists in maintenance or restoration of maximum ability for residents to perform all activities of daily life.

Performs daily assignment in keeping public areas and utility rooms clean. Keeps resident rooms, closets, and drawers orderly.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Proficiency in basic life support and patient care
• Experience with EMR and EHR systems
• Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation
• Ability to provide patient services with compassion
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical ethics
• Experience in senior care and memory care settings
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in diverse healthcare environments
