Job Summary :
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) to join our team. The LAC will provide high-quality mental health counseling services to individuals, families, and groups under clinical supervision. This role involves assessing clients' needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support emotional and behavioral well-being.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct initial intake assessments, including gathering client history and identifying treatment needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
- Provide individual, group, and / or family counseling using evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and client progress.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision as required by licensing regulations.
- Stay updated on best practices and new developments in mental health counseling.
- Adhere to all ethical, legal, and professional standards, including HIPAA compliance.
- Provide crisis intervention and referrals as needed.
Qualifications :
Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.Active Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) certification in the state of Arizona.Experience working with diverse populations and mental health conditions.Strong knowledge of counseling theories, techniques, and evidence-based interventions.Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Proficiency in clinical documentation and electronic health records (EHR) systems.Benefits :
