We are seeking a highly motivated

Technical Writer / Editor

to join our dynamic team. You will take on a leadership role and be responsible for updating, developing and producing technical documents to include interactive / online technical documentation using browser-based languages training products. Individual may train and be assisted by lower level technical writers.

This position is contingent upon award news Spring of 2025.

Key Responsibilities : Develop and update operational procedures, detailed descriptions of navigation hardware and software components, and an interactive online help feature.Maintain technical files in a knowledge-based repository.Develop and manage content for IETMs, including online help features as required / needed. Content encompasses documentation and procedures outlining the system level operations and maintenance.Collaborate with and / or train technical writers and subject matter experts to create technical documentation, including manuals, user guides, and maintenance instructions.What You Can Expect :

Qualifications : Bachelor's degree and Ten (10)+ years of experience developing and producing interactive / online technical documentation for Navigation systems.Four (4) years demonstrated experience supervising content development and integration efforts.Four (4) years demonstrated experience using XML authoring tool sets.Experience using browser-based languages including Extensible Markup Language (XML), Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML), JavaScript and Cascading Style Sheets.Demonstrated ability to interpret operational / maintenance manuals and operational procedures for Navigation systems.Direct experience with development of Navigation systems technical documentation products.Demonstrated communication, planning, and organizational skills.Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance.
